Principals

GRA’s principals, Sandra L. Renner and W. Gary Winget, each have over 40 years of real-life experience in the global marketplace. They are the developers of the FasTrack Global Expansion and Globalization planning and implementation process and authors of the books Fast-Track Exporting, published by the American Management Association, and the eight-volume FasTrack Export Step-by-Step Process in-depth marketing and globalization implementation manuals.

Winget previously served as the Assistant Director of Export Development for the Minnesota Trade Office. He was awarded a Bush Mid-Career Fellowship to study public policy at Yale University and received his B.S. in commerce and law at the University of Illinois.

Renner currently serves as Chair of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minnesota District Export Council, an Associate Member of the National District Export Council, and a member of the Minnesota Committee of the U.S. Global Leadership Council. She was previously Director of Export Development for the Minnesota Trade Office. She received a B.S. in marketing and an MBA from Minnesota State University.

Ms. Renner and Mr. Winget have received many awards in recognition of their outstanding work including the prestigious U.S. Presidential ‘E’ Award. On presentation of the ‘E’ Award, the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and The Journal of Commerce commented:
